SUMMARY

Märtha is a defender playing for Gamla Upsala SK in the U19 Division 1 – 2nd U19 National Tier. The U19 team functions as a bridge to the club’s first team, which competes in Elitettan – 2nd National Senior League. The squad is designed to develop and prepare players for senior football, with many of the club’s top prospects advancing directly into the professional environment.

We help players from the U19 Division 1 to NCAA D1 and NCAA D2 programs every year, and here are a few examples of players from that league starting college this fall:

• Nelly Roos – Jacksonville State University
• Moa Esberg – Lee University
• Tuva Lundström – The University of Alabama in Huntsville
• Lilly Morén – Texas A&M International University

Märtha is a brave and modern defender who likes to join the attack. As an outside back, Märtha utilizes speed and smart passes to advance down the flank. Either by combining with teammates or driving the ball forward at high speed herself. As a center back, she displays the same bravery, by inviting the pressure and then distributing the ball into open spaces. Moreover, Märtha is strong, relentless and skilled at anticipating interceptions. Her ability to break up plays makes her a valuable player in defense.

She intends to enroll in Fall 2027.
