SUMMARY

Lydia plays as a left back in a three-back for Älvsjö AIK in the Swedish U19 Division 1 – 2nd U19 National Tier. As one of the top players at the academy level, she also gets to train with the women’s first team, which is a top team in the Swedish Division 1 – 3rd National Senior Tier.

Lydia is an athletic defender who likes to join the attack. She is particularly effective at driving the ball forward, using her speed and physicality to carry possession into advanced areas. Whether it’s committing an opponent before finding a pass into midfield or continuing her run herself, she consistently helps her team progress up the field. Lydia also possesses a dangerous shot and has the end product to match her attacking intent, scoring six goals during the 2025 season. Defensively, she is committed and fearless, willing to put her body on the line to protect her goal. She defends her own box aggressively and takes pride in winning duels and blocking shots for her team.

She intends to enroll in Fall 2027.
