SUMMARY

Lilly Mikaelsson is a CB/CDM playing for BK Häcken – one of Sweden’s top academies. Lilly currently doubles between BK Häcken’s U17 and U19 teams, competing in the highest national league for both age groups – the U17 Allsvenskan and the U19 Allsvenskan.

The women’s first team competes in the OBOS Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s highest senior tier, and is the reigning Swedish champion as well as the 2026 UEFA Women’s Europa Cup champion. The U17 and U19 teams are designed to develop and prepare players for senior football, with many of the club’s top prospects advancing directly into the professional environment. For Lilly, playing up with the U19s gives her regular exposure to older players and places her in a highly competitive environment designed to prepare young players for the transition into senior football.

Strengths: Lilly is the player who arrives first at the training facility and leaves last. With her well-developed physique, technical ability, game intelligence, and speed, Lilly is the ideal player to anchor the center of the pitch, providing stability and composure to the team. As a center-back, few opposing forwards can match her speed. In attack, she has the confidence to carry the ball forward, finding spaces in the field. In central midfield, few players possess her level of mobility and passing skill; she is constantly available to receive the ball.

She intends to enroll in Fall 2028.
